I viewed the film Captain Phillips and it was riveting.  My emotions swayed from Captain Phillips to the Somalis.   It evoked my mission trips to Africa and the plight and poverty that prevail.

Yesterday, I attended Maggie Daley's wake.  I stood in the cold and rain for about 50 minutes with hundreds of others, but it gave me time to reflect on her life and how she lit up the world with her smile and helping others.   

Then today I read Phillipians 2 which stated, "Are your hearts tender and sympathetic?  Then make me truly happy by agreeing  whole-heartedly with each other, loving one another and working together with one heart and purpose.  Don't be selfish, don't live to make good...
